Generators and Solar Panels — Zibrov Discusses Preparations for Winter
69-year-old Pavlo Zibrov has already prepared his private home for winter. The singer said he has several power sources and backup heating equipment, so his main priority now is to ensure he has enough fuel.
Ukrainian singer Pavlo Zibrov shared how he is preparing for winter and potential power outages. The artist lives in a private home with his wife, daughter, and pets, so he made sure in advance that his family could stay warm during the cold season. According to the singer, it’s important to prepare for a difficult winter ahead of time. He advises people to use every available resource that can help them cope with power and heating outages. “You have to be prepared. Use every resource you have—they won’t go to waste. That’s for sure,” said Zibrov.
The artist also highlighted alternative heating methods. In particular, he advises those who can to secure potbelly stoves and generators in advance. “If you have potbelly stoves—get potbelly stoves. There are a lot of gas generators available now,” the singer noted.
Zibrov himself, he said, has several options for providing his home with electricity. He has gas and diesel generators, as well as solar panels. “I have a gas generator, a diesel generator, and solar panels. So, in fact, all I need is fuel,” the artist explained. At the same time, Zibrov noted that fuel costs are quite significant right now. According to him, the price has already reached about 100 hryvnias per liter.
Despite this, the singer believes that during a harsh winter, the most important thing is to keep the house warm. Other inconveniences, in his opinion, are much easier to endure. “Right now it’s already 100 hryvnias per liter. The main thing is to keep the house warm. Everything else can be managed,” said Zibrov. As a result, the artist is trying to prepare his family for potential challenges even before the cold weather sets in. In addition to the main source of electricity, the house has several backup options that can be used depending on the situation.
Zibrov also points out that winter preparations for homeowners can involve more than just stocking up on food or water. It’s important to plan ahead for how to maintain heat and electricity if the usual systems experience outages. This is especially important for the singer, since his wife, daughter, and dogs live with him in the house. So, as he himself noted, the main task for the winter is to make sure the house stays warm. Zibrov spoke about this in an interview with the publication “Blik.”
