On October 7, Ukraine will experience rolling blackouts
On Wednesday, October 7, rolling blackouts will be implemented in some regions of Ukraine. The restrictions are due to the aftermath of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy infrastructure.
According to Ukrenergo, power restriction schedules will be in effect for industry and businesses throughout the day—from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Hourly power outages ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 cycles are also planned for all categories of consumers.
Ukrenergo emphasized that the situation in the power grid may change. Consumers are advised to monitor announcements from local distribution system operators and use electricity sparingly once power is restored.
