Border lines: Where are the longest lines of cars as of 6:00 p.m.?

As of 6:00 p.m. on October 6, the longest lines for exiting Ukraine were reported along the Polish border.

The largest number of passenger cars are waiting at the “Shehyni” checkpoint—65 cars, “Ustyluh”—55, and “Krakivets”—15. There are also 3 buses in line at “Krakivets.”

 On the Romanian border, there is a line only at the Krasnoilsk checkpoint—23 passenger cars. On the Slovak border, the longest wait is at Uzhhorod—5 cars.

No lines of passenger cars were reported on the Hungarian and Moldovan routes.

Border guards also warned of possible disruptions in the operation of the control services’ electronic systems at the checkpoints.

Since the beginning of 2026, officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have detained 9,600 citizens for attempting to illegally cross the state border, 230 of whom were detained last week.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has denied reports of an alleged strike on the “Yagodin” border crossing on the border with Poland. According to State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko, no hits on border infrastructure have been recorded.
