The Chongar Bridge suffered significant damage: satellite images
The Chongar Road Bridge, which connects the temporarily occupied Crimea with the Kherson region, has sustained serious damage. Satellite images make it possible to assess the extent of the damage to the bridge.
Satellite images from September 26 show at least three large holes in the bridge deck and the adjacent crossing. Due to the damage, traffic across the bridge has become significantly more difficult.

At the same time, an image from September 30 shows that one of the spans of the Chongar Bridge has already collapsed.

What is known?
The Chongar crossing is a vital road route between Crimea and the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region. Damage to it could complicate Russian military logistics and cargo transportation.
No information has yet been reported regarding the exact nature of the damage or the possibility of fully restoring traffic across the bridge.
