Military representatives from all 32 NATO countries arrived in Kyiv for the first time in eight years

On October 7, military representatives from all 32 NATO member countries arrived in Kyiv. The delegation from the Alliance’s Military Committee was led by its chairman, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone.

During the visit, NATO representatives plan to receive an up-to-date assessment of the situation on the battlefield from the Commander-in-Chief and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as to discuss further military support for Ukraine.

The NATO Military Committee delegation included military representatives from all 32 member states of the Alliance. In Kyiv, they will hold meetings with Ukrainian military leadership.

The main topics of discussion will be the situation on the front lines, an assessment of combat operations, and NATO’s continued support for Ukraine.

According to Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, this visit is of particular significance, as it marks the NATO Military Committee’s first official visit to Kyiv in eight years.

The Chairman of the NATO Military Committee emphasized that the delegation arrived in the Ukrainian capital “in full force.” He said this sends an important signal about the strengthening of ties between NATO and Ukraine.

Cavo Dragone stated that the Alliance continues to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, as well as Russia’s hybrid actions against NATO countries.

During their stay in Kyiv, members of the delegation also paid tribute to Ukrainian military personnel, particularly those who were killed or wounded.

Giuseppe Cavo Dragone addressed separately those who hope to undermine support for Ukraine through sabotage, cyberattacks, and violations of NATO countries’ airspace.

“To those who believe that by carrying out sabotage, cyberattacks, and violations of NATO countries’ airspace, they will succeed in undermining this support and our resolve, I say: you will fail! NATO’s support for Ukraine continues to grow, and our unity is stronger than ever,” stated Kavo Dragone.

Thus, the visit of military representatives from all 32 NATO countries to Kyiv is intended to serve as a platform for discussing the situation on the front lines and further support for Ukraine amid ongoing Russian aggression.

This was reported by “Ukrinform.”

Earlier, Estonia joined NATO’s Steadfast Duel 26 command-post exercise, which will test the Alliance’s command structures and defense plans in practice.

NATO plans to present a new defense strategy titled “Theory of Victory” in Poland on October 12.
