Zelenskyy reported 25 deaths as a result of a massive Russian strike
The death toll from the massive combined attack by Russian forces on Ukraine has risen to 25, with another 100 people wounded. The enemy used ballistic and cruise missiles, attack drones, and aerial bombs.
During an evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called this attack a “gift” that Vladimir Putin gave himself for his birthday.
The head of state emphasized that Russia will move toward escalation, and that the easing of sanctions pressure and signals about lifting restrictions on oligarchs indicate a normalization of the war. He also called on Western partners to ensure the prompt delivery of air defense systems and to adhere to aid schedules.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an evening address.
As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of a nighttime attack.
Earlier, the Northern Bridge in Kyiv, which had been damaged by a drone, was repaired.
