The Russians attacked one of Ukraine's largest pharmaceutical plants
On Wednesday, Russian troops attacked the Borshchahivka Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant (BCPP), one of the largest Ukrainian manufacturers in the pharmaceutical market.
“The strike occurred on October 7, around 5:00 p.m. The source did not provide details regarding the extent of the damage…,” the report states.
As previously reported, BKhFZ increased its net profit by 3% to 281.8 million UAH and its production of pharmaceutical products by 16% to 37.4 million packages worth 2.48 billion UAH in 2025. According to the company, total sales of finished products and goods in 2025 amounted to 43.8 million packages, which is 6.9% more than in 2024.
The shareholders of BHFZ are the pharmaceutical company PJSC “Pharmaceutical Firm “Darnitsa” (Kyiv), which owns 31.8% of BHFZ’s shares, as well as “Beldor Group” (21.26%) and “Lenik Group” (20.32%).
The ultimate beneficiaries of BHFZ are Gleb Zagoriy, the beneficiary of the pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa,” as well as Yevgen Sova, Tetiana Artemenko, Mykola Bezpalko, and Oleg Goloborodko.

On the morning of October 7, Russia launched a massive strike on the Poltava region using cruise missiles and attack drones. Explosions were heard in Kremenchuk, as well as in Oleksandriya in the Kirovohrad region.
Russian occupiers attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times with drones and missiles. Two people were injured as a result of the shelling, and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
On the morning of October 7, Russian invaders struck critical infrastructure in Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad Oblast. The attack resulted in one fatality and several injuries.
On October 7, the aftermath of a Russian attack was observed in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv. The strike caused a fire in an office and warehouse building, and the ceiling was partially destroyed.
As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of a nighttime attack.
