Zelenskyy confirmed that Russia is preparing for a new large-scale attack

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Tuesday, October 6, that Ukraine had received updated intelligence regarding Russia’s preparations for a new large-scale attack. According to him, the government is already preparing the necessary countermeasures.

Zelenskyy made this announcement following a conference call with government officials, military leaders, and heads of key agencies.

“Today we received updated intelligence regarding Russia’s preparations for a massive strike. We are preparing a response. We have set deadlines for completing a significant portion of the tasks, and the most urgent ones are already being implemented,” the president said.

According to Zelenskyy, during the meeting, the defense minister and the commander of the Air Force reported on the deployment of air defense systems and the organization of defense lines to protect designated key facilities.

The president noted that Ukraine is providing the necessary ammunition for the F-16s, as well as interceptors and anti-missile systems. At the same time, the situation with anti-ballistic systems remains the most challenging, as their supply depends on partners.

Separately, Zelenskyy reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops had attacked Ukrainian hospitals in Kramatorsk and Kryvyi Rih.

The government, in cooperation with regional authorities, has also prepared additional logistical solutions in response to Russian strikes on Ukrainian logistics infrastructure. According to the president, some of these measures have already begun to be implemented.
