Rubio called on Russia to disclose details of the death of a lab worker due to the plague
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Russia must provide the world with more information about the death of a lab worker who was researching the plague.
According to him, Washington is closely monitoring the situation and evaluating the information received. Rubio emphasized that the U.S. has certain measures it can take to assist Russia if the situation turns out to be more serious than reported.
At the same time, the Secretary of State noted that before taking any action, the U.S. needs to obtain more details about the incident.
“We are monitoring the situation very closely, hour by hour,” Rubio said.
