In Singapore, Channel NewsAsia published a Reuters report saying that SpaceX is seeking to raise $40 billion to purchase Nvidia chips. The Financial Times reported this on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Funding led by Apollo

According to the FT, the financing is to be led by Apollo Global Management. The purpose of raising the funds is to purchase Nvidia chips for SpaceX. The FT did not disclose the names of its sources.
