Over the past month, no air defense personnel have been transferred to the infantry
Over the past month, there have been no recorded cases of Ukrainian Air Force personnel being transferred to the Army, specifically to infantry units.
This was stated by Yuriy Cherevashenko, Deputy Commander of the Air Force for Air Defense, during a meeting of the Temporary Investigative Commission.
According to him, commanders are required to report such transfers. At the same time, Air Force personnel were indeed previously transferred to the Army, including to the infantry.
Cherevashchenko also noted that in 2024–2025, such transfers were one of the factors that weakened air defense. However, he is currently unable to assess whether the Temporary Investigative Commission’s intervention is needed now to prevent similar incidents.
