On October 7, 28 people were killed as a result of Russian shelling of Ukraine
As a result of Russian shelling on October 7, 28 people were killed in Ukraine in Pryluky, Kremenchuk, Oleksandriya, and Kyiv. Among the victims in Pryluky, where 20 deaths were reported, five children were identified, three of whom were only one year old. In Kyiv, two people were killed by enemy strikes in the evening.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service and police officers managed to free 29 people from under the rubble and evacuate them from destroyed buildings, mostly in Pryluky. Work to clear the rubble and check for people trapped beneath it has been ongoing for over 14 hours.

As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of an overnight attack.
Earlier, the Northern Bridge in Kyiv, which had been damaged by a drone, was repaired.
On the morning of October 4, during a drone attack, a Russian suicide drone exploded on the roadway of the Northern Bridge in Kyiv.
